This action-packed workshop will teach you how to do Modeling, Analysis, Design, Scheduling & Detailing. This workshop will make you master of sub-structure design.

3 Hrs. Non-Stop Workshop Curriculum

PART 1 - KNOWING ANTICIPATED LOADING

In the 1^st part of this workshop, there will be detailed discussion about the proposed project for the sub-structure design. Taking all necessary action with ETABS model to know the reaction under each column and shear wall. This part will include the following actions:

a) Checking ETABS model

b) Performing Analysis

c) Exporting Column Layout and Base Reactions

PART 2 - UNDERSTANDING OF SOIL INVESTIGATION REPORT

The 2^nd part of this workshop, consisting of doing the study of soil investigation report for proposed structure. Taking all necessary action to know and calculate safe bearing capacity of soil as well as soil sub-grade modulus. This part will include the following actions:

a) Knowing SBC of soil, Settlement, and Soil Sub-grade modulus

b) Importing Base Reaction

c) Importing Column Layouts

PART 3 - DECIDING TYPE OF FOUNDATION

The 3^rd part of this workshop, consisting of making the decision of particular type of foundation for the proposed structure. Also, it will include grouping of reactions and knowing preliminary size of footings. This part will include the following actions:

a) Grouping of columns based on reactions

b) Knowing preliminary in plan dimension of footing

PART 4 - INTIATING WITH CSI SAFE SOFTWARE

The 4^th part of this workshop, consisting of initiating the work with CSI SAFE software. This part will include the following actions:

a) Importing reaction and defining all essentials

b) Importing columns layout

c) Modeling footings

PART 5 - PERFORMING DESIGN, SCHEDULING AND DETAILING

The 5^th part of this workshop, consisting of performing analysis and design after modeling of design strips. This part will include the following actions:

a) Modeling of design strips

b) Performing analysis and design

c) Preparing schedule for design results
